Terms of Service

1. Who we are and agreement

SpeakTCF (speaktcf.com, the "Service") is operated by an independent developer ("we", "us"). Contact: loveyou346810@gmail.com.

By using the Service or buying access you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these Terms for it.

2. The Service

SpeakTCF is a web-based practice tool for French speaking and writing, delivered digitally with instant access in your browser. You choose an original practice task, record or upload a spoken answer or type a written answer, and receive written practice feedback on the French you used.

• All tasks are original. We do not sell, reproduce or claim to have the exam provider's own questions.
• SpeakTCF is unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to France Éducation international or any exam body.
• Feedback is for practice only. We do not grade answers, assign levels or predict exam results, and feedback does not certify proficiency.
• Feedback is generated automatically using third-party AI services (speech recognition by Groq and language feedback by Google Gemini). Their availability and behaviour are outside our full control.

3. Access without an account

SpeakTCF does not require an account. After purchase, an access code is saved in your browser and identifies your paid access. Keep your purchase email and order reference: we use them to help you restore access on another device or browser. Do not share your access code.

4. Plans

Free: 2 feedback submissions per visitor. Paid: 30-day access to practice feedback for US$19.99. Current prices and what is included are shown on our Pricing page.

5. Billing and payment

• Paid access is a one-time payment. It is not a subscription, does not renew automatically, and there is no auto-recharge.
• Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; taxes are calculated and shown at checkout.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Waffo Pancake, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Waffo Pancake processes your payment, issues your receipt and handles sales tax and billing enquiries. Card data is handled exclusively by Waffo Pancake in line with PCI-DSS; we never receive or store your full card details.

6. Cancellation and expiry

Because access is a one-time purchase, there is nothing to cancel and you will not be charged again. Paid access ends automatically 30 days after payment is confirmed. Unused feedback does not carry over.

7. Refunds

• 7-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied, email us within 7 days of purchase and we will arrange a full refund, no questions asked.
• Duplicate or mistaken charges are refunded in full.
• Service outages: if the Service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours during your paid period, we will extend your access by the time lost or, if you prefer, give a pro-rated refund.
• How to request: email loveyou346810@gmail.com with your purchase email and order reference. We reply within 2 business days; approved refunds are issued through Waffo Pancake to the original payment method, and bank processing can take 5–10 business days. A refund ends your paid access.
• After 7 days, payments are non-refundable except as required by law or set out above. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.

8. Billing disputes

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us at loveyou346810@gmail.com before opening a dispute with your bank. We will respond within 2 business days and aim to resolve billing issues within 10 business days.

9. Your content, AI output and intellectual property

• You own the recordings and text you submit and the feedback produced for you.
• You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your submissions only to provide the Service. We do not store your submissions after processing and do not use them to train AI models.
• The Service's website, task texts, design and software belong to us. You may use tasks and feedback for your own learning, not republish them as a collection.
• Automated output can be incomplete or wrong. Pronunciation and rhythm comments are marked as unverified impressions. Feedback is not professional advice; check important points with a qualified teacher.

10. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for personal language practice. You must not:

• submit recordings of other people without their consent, illegal content, or sensitive personal information;
• attempt to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service, or bypass free-use limits (for example by rotating networks or automating submissions);
• scrape tasks or outputs in bulk, use outputs to train or build competing AI models, or resell or share paid access;
• use the Service during a live exam session or to obtain answers while sitting an exam;
• present our automated feedback as the assessment of a certified examiner or teacher.

11. Consequences of breaching these Terms

If you breach these Terms we may, depending on severity: warn you; limit or block submissions from your network or access code; suspend paid access; or terminate access permanently. For fraud, chargeback abuse, attempts to harm the Service or serious or repeated breaches, termination may be immediate and without refund. Where reasonable we will tell you the reason by email if we have your address, and you may reply to explain or appeal; we will review and respond within 5 business days.

12. Data, privacy and security

Our Privacy Policy explains what we process and why. We keep order records needed for accounting and refunds as described there. Payment card data is handled only by Waffo Pancake.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for exam outcomes, immigration, study or employment decisions. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Term and termination

These Terms apply while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate access for serious breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or where required by law. If we discontinue the Service or end your access for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of your paid period on a pro-rated basis. You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete related records by emailing loveyou346810@gmail.com.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Please contact us first at loveyou346810@gmail.com; we will try to resolve any issue informally within 30 days before either party starts formal proceedings.

16. Changes and general terms

We will post changes to these Terms on this page and give at least 15 days' notice of material changes on the website before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms; changes never reduce access you have already paid for. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
