TCF Canada-style writing practice
Choose a clear purpose before writing. For E1 identify who receives your message and what they need to know. For E2 recount an experience with a beginning, a turning point and a takeaway. For E3 explain both supplied viewpoints fairly before developing your position.
Provisional targets are 60–120 words for a personal message, 120–150 for an experience article and 120–180 for a comparison. The sixty-minute writing section is shared; separate timers here are practice allocations.
Revise with your original beside you. Writing feedback verifies quotations against the text you submitted. Read the English explanation, test the suggested French rewrite and check that it preserves your meaning. Save a report if you want a personal record.
